The absolute truth is I'm sick of feeling awful. I'm tired of hating what I see in the mirror.
I'm really good at starting things and I'm really good at letting myself off the hook when I'm tired of the effort. I want to change that about myself. I think if I can do that, maybe I'll finally be able to lose the weight and get healthy.
I hate running but I hate feeling left out more. So when everyone else was signing up for a charity half marathon, I signed up too. Now it's three months away and I'm up against the wall. I don't want to fail again.
