Hello I am Jamie, A lil about me:
Took up running after I tore my ACL to prove my doctor wrong. I know horrible idea. Run 2 years with a torn ACL and MCl. I have a problem quitting. I went from not running at all to marathoner in 18 months. I have did numerous races and OCR races. Last July decided to have knee surgery. I had a torn ACL,MCL, PCL and lost my desire to run anymore.
So as most people would do I went after an even higher goal of being an IronMan in 2018. Step one was learning how to swim. I can tread water and getting better slow but surely. The biking I am good at and since I ran several marathons I know what to expect. Life is getting in the way of training.
Today for instance, on the way to the gym my water pump went out and no gym today. Guess today wasn't my day.
